Chicken Casserole

swiss-baked-chicken-450This is one of my favorites because it has stuffing and pasta in it! This is at the top of my list of good meals to take to a family with small children. It is very kid-friendly and adults love it too!

Cooked Chicken or Turkey…either shred it or cut it into chunks…tasty way to do it is to buy a Rotisserie chicken. Also can use leftover chicken or turkey..use as much as you’d like. I get enough to make casserole in a 9 x 13 pan.

Pasta…I use linguini…cook al dente

Stove Top Stuffing…I use Savory Herb…cook according to package.

Mix together cream of celery and cream of mushroom and one of those cans filled with milk.

In 9 x 13 pan, mix together soups and milk mixture, chicken or turkey and pasta…season with pepper to your liking and dot with butter…Cover top of casserole with stuffing and bake in oven at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes until nice and bubbly.

Serve with green beans and chocolate chip cookies! YUM!
