Taco Soup

2 lbs ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 (1.25 oz) pkgs taco seasoning
1 (1 oz) pkg ranch dressing mix
1 (16 oz) can kidney beans
1 (16 oz) can black beans
1 (16 oz) can pinto beans
1 (16 oz) can tomatoes with green chiles (I use Original Rotel)
1 (16 oz) can corn
2 cups water


Brown meat and drain of fat. Put everything into a large crockpot. Do NOT drain cans; put liquid from cans into crockpot along with beans/veggies. Stir to mix together ingredients. Cook on low all day on high for about 5 hours. The longer this cooks, the better it is. Serve with tortilla chips or Doritos, shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream.
